The Therapy at Home Time in Nature Program focuses on encouraging time in nature through a variety of activities that cover a range of interests, including arts and crafts, movement, group play, solo play, flora and fauna appreciation and outdoor adventuring.

The activities have been created to showcase the toolbox resources in a meaningful and purposeful way, so that children can use these as springboards for continued outdoor exploration in a range of settings and locations.

Using the instructional cards, children can engage in structured activities, such as creating a DIY botanical guidebook, leaf mobile, compass musical freeze and more. The Ways to Play cards provide ideas for fun and open-ended exploration of movement tools such as binoculars, magnifying glass and a flower press.

In addition to the structured and open-ended activities, there is opportunity for reflection through the Time in Nature Journal to further enhance awareness and understanding of the positive impact that nature can have on their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.

The Time in Nature Program can also be purchased as part of the Therapy at Home 2.0 Bundle, which includes the Movement 2.0 Program and the Creative Mindfulness: Mandalas Program.
